Larry Zimich

Larry has been competitively cycling for the past 25 years with a career that has seen him compete throughout Canada, USA and Europe. Currently Larry is the Masters World Games Champion in the road race and criterium events with podium placings in 2007 including an international win at the UCI ranked Tour of Pakistan Stage Race. Larry is currently the only rider to have attained 3 BC Cup victories since its inception.

Along with competing, Larry is a full time coach and heads the elite indoor cycling program at Vancouver's Studeo55.

As an energetic long-time (23 years!) cyclist Larry has been an ambassador for sport, promoting cycling as part of a healthy balanced lifestyle.  Both as coach and competitor, Larry holds high the values of commitment to goals, responsibility to one’s self and others, comradery and the drive to excel in all of life’s endeavors.

Larry brings his experience in the sport, his leadership and ability to promote products associated with not only cycling and outdoor activities, but other lifestyle and personal services.



Barb Zimich

Barbara has been cycling competitively for over 20 years and is a two time and the current World Masters Games Road Race, as well as the Criterium champion. She was a gold medalist at the UCI Masters World Championships. She was the elite B.C. Road Race champion twice, Canadian National Road Race champion two times and has represented B.C. at many events. She also competes and medals in running, triathlon and cross country skiing.

Barb has been coaching for 20 years for individuals and for clubs. She has a certificate in Health and Fitness from the Kinesiology program at Simon Fraser University, and is an NCCP coach level 2. In 2005 she acquired certification with the ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) as an Exercise Specialist. As well as coaching athletes of all ages for bike racing and triathlon, she works in cardiac rehabilitation and performs cardiac testing.

Barbara, as a long time instructer/trainer is able to find ways to get the message across and her background in kinesiology enables her to help individuals learn skills progressively. She is a role model for athletes and enjoys working with motivated individuals interested in learning and reaching their potential.
